SC CGL Eligibility Criteria 2017: Details The CGL eligibility criteria are the conditions which is set by the staff selection commission, candidates must ensure that they fulfil all the eligibility conditions. SSC CGL eligibility criteria mention below:

Candidates who wanted to fill the application form of SSC CGL 2017 needed to read the eligibility criteria to ascertain their academic and age qualification. As per the SSC CGL 2017 eligibility criteria, candidates needed to be between 18 and 31 years as on August 1, 2017 and have graduation degree in any stream could fill the application form. The recruitment of candidates will be done only on fulfilment of SSC CGL 2017 eligibility criteria. Educational Qualifications

Candidates need to fulfil the following educational qualifications in order to be able to fill the SSC CGL application form:

Assistant Audit Officer:

 

  • Essential Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree from recognised University or Institute

  • Desirable Qualifications: Chartered Accountant or cost & Management Accountant or Company Secretary or Masters in Commerce or Masters in Business Studies or Masters in Business Administration (Finance) or Masters in Business Economics.

 

Statistical Investigator Grade – II

  • Bachelor’s Degree in any subject from a recognised University or Institute with at least 60% in Mathematics at 12th standard level or

  • Bachelor’s Degree in any subject with Statistics as one of the subjects at degree level

Compiler: Bachelor’s Degree from any recognised University with Economics or Statistics or Mathematics as compulsory or Elective subject

All other Posts: Bachelor’s Degree from a recognised University or equivalent.

SSC CGL Selection Procedure 2017

 

Selection process includes 4 tiers as indicated below:

·         Tier-1: Written Examination (Objective Type) (200 Marks)

·         Tier-2: Written Examination (Objective Type) (each paper carry 200 marks)

·         Tier-3: Written Examination (Descriptive Type) (100 Marks)

·         Tier-4: Computer Test / Skill Test (wherever applicable)

SSC CGL Tier 1 Exam Pattern 2017

·         Exam is objective type and will be conducted online.

·         Question paper will be divided into 4 sections: (1) General Intelligence & Reasoning, (2) General Awareness/ General knowledge, (3) Quantitative Aptitude and (4) English Comprehension.

·         There are 100 questions for 200 marks and exam duration will be 75 minutes.

·         There will be negative marking of 0.50 marks for each wrong answer.

SSC CGL Tier 2 Exam Pattern 2017

·         Exam is objective type and will be conducted online.

·         There are 4 papers, (Paper- 1) Quantitative Ability, (Paper-2) English Language and Comprehension, (Paper-3) Statistics and (Paper-4) General Studies (Finance and Economics).

·         Paper-1 & 2 is compulsory for all posts and Paper-3 is only for the post of “Statistical Investigator Gr. II” & “Compiler” and Paper- 4 is only for the post of “Assistant Audit Officer”.

·         Each paper carries 200 marks and exam duration is 2 hours for each paper.

·         There will be negative marking for each wrong answer, negative marking of 0.50 marks in Paper-1, Paper-3 & Paper-4 and negative marking of 0.25 marks in Paper-2.
